UCAK Apartments -
Gumbet. The UCAK are a great place to explore
Gumbet, the apartments are a bit basic but are
always spotlessly clean, we went with Club18-30 from
Thomas Cook, the flight was a pain as it was a night
flight, but once their the 18-30 rep on the bus was
very informative and we easily forgot about the
flight. The booze at the hotel is a bit on the
expensive side, so best to get out of the hotel for
a few drinks as it is only 5 mins from the main bar
strip. I would recommend the UCAK hotel - nearly
forgot the barman their was such a laff, think his
name is PAC. We booked the holiday online through
the Thomas Cook website and got some great savings,
only £175 per person for a week.

Just come back from
the UCAK Apartments and I cannot belive what rubbish
some people complain about, remember this is not a 5
star hotel , so don't expect 5 star service and you
will not be paying 5 star prices. The beach with
watersports and Jet ski hire is a 20 min walk away
for the hotel and Gumbet is full of nice bars and
restaurant to save you money during the stay. Staff
were friendly and the club 18-30 staff are always
about in case you have a problem. Make sure
that you get the air conditioning as without it the
temperature at night can stay very high.
