As the original
party island, Ibiza is still the undisputed
clubbers’ paradise. Home to many of the world’s
best superclubs, it regularly attracts the best
DJs on Earth. With a reputation for great
nightlife that stretches back 30 years, Ibiza
attracts the weird and wonderful like nowhere
else. Should you find yourself in need of a rest
you can chill-out on some of the best beaches in
the Mediterranean. If you love beautiful scenery
then pay a visit to Benirràs Bay for some of the
most sought after views in Europe.
Ibiza clubs
include Privilege (the world’s largest), El
Divino (one of the most scenic), Space and Eden,
home to Judge Jules and Pete Tong. Entry fees
can be as much as fifty Euros for the big
nights, but if you’re on a budget, the less
famous clubs can be very affordable, with a
range of discounts promoted across the resorts.
A change of pace
is available in the island’s chill-out bars that
offer a much more relaxed vibe. The best of
these is the famous Café del Mar where you can
watch the sunset whilst drinking a cold beer to
a perfectly judged backdrop of eclectic music.
For fun and sun
seekers, Ibiza is a must!

Malia &
Hersonissos
For those party
animals with a love of activity, Crete offers
you watersports, go-karting, paintball, boat
trips, volleyball and much more. Not that this
distracts from the Greek island’s other great
attraction: partying. Get yourself down to
Venue, Reflex, Flares or Sugar for great fun
nights of cheesy dancing and the best atmosphere
in the Med.
Crete also has
some amazing beaches. Malia Beach’s 2km of
golden sands is stunning, while Star Beach just
a few kilometres away offers an equally special
alternative. If after the long nights you still
have energy to burn, then head to Malia Town.
This amazingly rustic town has some wonderful
hidden shops selling local goods at very
reasonable prices. All of this and we haven’t
even mentioned the quality of local food, the
wonderful golf courses and Samaria Gorge, a view
that’s not to be missed!
